Champagne and Teal Smoky Cat Eye Look

 

So I decided to make up my own look for the first time because I hadn’t seen any new makeup looks I cared to recreate. I also didn’t do an intro for this video or an ending because well... I forgot :p But I doubt those are really important for a video anyways and I just might not add them in on purpose for future videos because it saves time! Who really cares for intros anyways? But back to the look! The eyes were a champagne on the lid, a deep glittery teal on the outer portion (Looks black in the video & pictures but I assure you in person it looks like a deep teal), winged liner in the outer corner and inner corner, black rimmed eyes, and spiky fake lashes. For the face, it was just a natural mauve shade and for the lips it was glossy nude pink lips. I hope you enjoy!

Fall/Winter Makeup Trends of 2011 Makeup Look

 The makeup I did was a metallic smoky eye, winged out liner, along with a nude face and dramatic red lips. I just wanted to recreate some of the makeup trends for winter on myself so that’s what I did for this look. I'll just say a little bit about the trends in case you don't know them. For the eyes, metallic smoky eyes are in(gold,  bronze, or silver), Gem toned shadows (Sapphire, Jade, Emerald, Amethyst, etc.), graphic liner, strong brows and spiky, clumpy lashes. For the lips, vampy lip colors are in, so deep reds, bright reds, burgundies and even plums. Now for the face, it is all about keeping it natural, a light foundation or tinted moisturizer would work great. You also want to keep it dewy, stay away from matte foundations and powders but if you have to powder your face because you have oily skin just apply it lightly on your T zone.
